What it does
Check what a regular expression matches in the engine it will run in: every match, every capture group, and whether the run completed.
How to use it
- Type or paste the regex.
- Paste the text to test; add more texts with Add text.
- Results appear as you type; press Ctrl/Cmd+Enter to run with the longer deadline.
- Open Explanation or Structure to see how the pattern is read; open Code to get a program that reproduces the result.

Engines
- JavaScript runs in this browser. Python, PCRE2 and Go are pinned WebAssembly builds that download only when you select them.
- An engine that cannot run the pattern says so; the result is never shown as "no matches".
Limits
- Runs as you type up to the published size limit; larger inputs run with the Run button.
- Nothing you type is uploaded; closing the tab loses unsaved work.
